MABHOKO VILLAGE – On April 26, 2020 The African Transformation Movement (ATM) extended a helping hand to the marginalised families of Mabhoko Village donating 20 food parcels at the Tribal Office.
The distribution of food parcel is an initiative to help support the vulnerable affected by the national lockdown. The initiative comes after President Cyril Ramaphosa extended the national lockdown with two more weeks.
The president of ATM Mr Vuyolwethu Zungula led the team who distributed the food parcels in Mabhoko Village accompanied by Local Tribal Leader Ndabezitha Bizmack Mahlangu, Community Worker Ms Thobile Msiza and different stakeholders who attended the proceedings.
The beneficiaries were selected due to the need and urgency in their families, focusing on beneficiaries who have no source of income and who came forward asking for assistance.
All present were also reminded to observe social distancing measures, wear masks, hand gloves, and using sanitizers.
To all those who would want to donate they may contact Mabhoko Tribal office at 082 580 9360 / 060 824 7705.
